The thoughtful generosity of residents in Southwest Montana significantly extends Rocky Mountain Development Council’s (RMDC) ability to serve clients throughout our programs:  Head Start children and families; seniors living on fixed incomes; boys and girls who find shelter in Montana Youth Homes; and clients who find critical social interaction at Our Place Drop In Center.

Gifts can and do arrive in different forms:  cash contributions; the thoughtful selection of items that families or seniors need; time and talents volunteered to virtually all of our programs; business sponsorship of programs.

Donations not only aid community members directly; they often help us meet needed  “match” requirements for grants.

Periodically, programs within RMDC host special fundraising events.  Friends of Head Start sponsor a Spring Extravaganza.  The Senior Companion program runs an annual Rock-a-Thon.  Montana Youth Homes hosts a winter Soiree.  At Christmas, RMDC participates vigorously in the “Empty Stockings” campaign sponsored by the Helena Independent Record. We invite you to participate in all those events, as well as to consider giving throughout the year.
