Senior Center Daily Dinner Club Meals

RMDC’s Senior Nutrition Program provides a nutritious noontime meal Monday through Friday in the following communities:

  • Helena
  • Augusta
  • Lincoln
  • Townsend
  • Whitehall
  • East Helena, meals served only on Wednesday and Friday
  • Boulder, meals served only on Tuesday and Thursday

Location and menus

These noontime meals are provided in each community's Senior Center. Menus differ among these Daily Dinner Clubs. For example, the Helena Daily Dinner Club offers a full salad bar at most meals. A registered dietician helps to create well-rounded meals. Kitchen staff  work to prepare “home-cooked” entrees.

Cost

For individuals who are 60 and older, there is a minimum suggested donation of $3.50 for meals. For individuals who are younger than 60, there is a higher, required cost of $6.50. We invite family and friends to join seniors a these meals.

Social interaction

Daily Dinner Club meals offer seniors the opportunity to visit, participate in other senior center activities, and enjoy an outing as well as benefit from good hot food.

Individuals served

Each year, about 50,000 meals and 1,000 individuals are served throughout RMDC’s Senior Nutrition Programs in Broadwater, Jefferson, and Lewis & Clark counties.
