Energy Share
Energy Share of Montana is a private, nonprofit organization whose primary purpose is to help Montanans faced with energy emergencies meet their needs and move towards self-reliance.
One of the chief ways Energy Share helps people is with their heating bills. Families who live paycheck-to-paycheck often face some type of financial emergency when an unexpected expense occurs, such as a vehicle breaking down, loss of employment, or medical expenses. Energy Share helps people with their heating bills through a one-time bill assistance or lifetime maximum of $700.
