Weatherization

Weatherization is an energy conservation program designed to reduce the home heating costs of low income families. Those eligible for energy assistance will be put on a priority list to be weatherized.

Appropriate weatherization procedures are determined by an energy audit. Heating costs are generally reduced by a combination of the following measures:

• Reduction of Infiltration
• Addition of Insulation
• Increased Efficiency of the Furnace
• Weather-Stripping
• Client Education
