Sister Zollinger marked her last day of volunteering in our Meals on Wheels Program, where she served as a “meal sealer,” sealing meals before they were packed for delivery.
She had been volunteering with Rocky for the past five months as part of her mission with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
“I have been in this area for the past 5 months, but have been all over western Montana doing service as part of our 18-month mission. We started serving at Rocky a few years ago and have kept coming back to volunteer. Everyone here is so kind, and we have especially loved working with Mary. Rocky does so many great things, and it has been fun to learn about everything while volunteering!”
Rocky is the last organization Sister Zollinger volunteered with as a requirement to complete her mission. She will head back home to Idaho and will attend Utah State University in the fall.
This missionary work, the sisters provide Rocky has helped us meet the need for volunteers in our Meals on Wheels program. She and the rest of the sisters always bring a great attitude and are wonderful to work with.
