The Helena Senior Center provides older adults with the opportunity to enjoy lunch, participate in activities, and socialize in a friendly atmosphere. Located in the Neighborhood Center (200 South Cruse Avenue), it is a positive place to spend time!
Often, the senior center serves as a meeting place for groups that advocate for senior issues, including health screenings and income tax assistance. Activities include exercise classes, writing, craft or art classes, and group games such as bingo, pinochle, and bridge.
Lunch is provided Monday - Friday, from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm. A registered dietician helps to create well-rounded meals, and each meal comes with a salad bar, coffee, and assorted juices! For individuals 60 and older, a suggested donation of $5.00 for lunch is requested. For anyone over 60, the cost of lunch is $10.. We invite family and friends to join seniors at these meals!
The Helena Senior Center is open 8:00 am - 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
